Fire is empowering to me. To be able to have control over something dangerous, a situation or an object, requires patience, care, strength and resilience. That kind of power strengthened me mentally, physically, and spiritually, and it further enabled me to meditate, finding a new light within myself. When I dance with fire I feel free.

from beginner to advanced, child to adult,

at local Spin Jams where I've recently resided, and surrounding areas. Here are a few to check out:

*Memphis, TN : Every sunny Sunday with the drum circle at Overton Park, 2-5 PM

*Orlando, FL: Every sunny Sunday at downtown Lake Eola Park, 3-6 PM (hosted by the Orlando Fire&Flow and Orlando HoopTroop)

Ft. Lauderdale, FL: Every last sunny Sunday at Hugh Taylor Birch Park, 12-7 PM (sometimes held twice monthly)

Louisville, KY: Torched Tuesdays @ Cherokee Park
